David and Victoria Beckham managed to put on a united front in Paris as their married son Brooklyn and his American wife Nicola Peltz joined them ahead of the Paris Fashion Week show.
However, it has been reported that the British star player persuaded her eldest son Brooklyn, 24, to attend Victoria’s Paris fashion show to help protect the family “brand” from rumors of a feud.
On Friday, the Beckham family, including the football legend, his designer wife Victoria and children; Cruise, Harper and Brooklyn posed for a happy family photo with Nicola on Friday.
But a source has revealed that Brooklyn, who turned 24 yesterday, initially turned down his mum’s invitation to Paris Fashion Week as Nicola, 28, was due to film Lola James in America.
In the midst of the situation, David, 47, warned Brooklyn that his absence could affect the whole family that he withdrew his decision.
“Brooklyn wasn’t planning on coming at first. But David realized that the decision could be questioned,” a source shared.
“He pointed out that he risked damaging the Beckham brand by fueling rumors of a feud between Victoria and Nicola,” the Mirror reported.
“Eventually, he agreed to fly with Nicola and Nicola even agreed to dress Victoria Beckham for the show. When Victoria saw the two of them, tears came to her eyes.
Sources close to Beckham insist it was “always” the plan for Brooklyn to attend.
